3. Mastering the Atmosphere: Humidity Control

No amount of machine engineering can fix a room that is too humid. Herbal extracts act like sponges; if the Relative Humidity (RH) in your cleanroom exceeds 50%, the powder will absorb water and turn into a paste.

Best Practices for Encapsulation:

Effective humidity control in encapsulation is mandatory. We recommend:

  • Room Specs: Maintain RH between 35% and 45% for herbal production.
  • Machine Design: Ensure your capsule filler has a fully enclosed filling station (like the Kxite NJP Series) to maintain a micro-climate and prevent ambient moisture from affecting the powder bed.

4. Powerful Vacuum Cleaning

Sticky powders create more dust. If this dust settles on the segment plates or the capsule opening station, it causes "telescoping" (capsules not joining correctly).
